2.1.1 Prevalence of undernourishment — Value is currently reported for 132 countries. The highest value is 56.5 % in Somalia; the lowest is 2.5 % in Mongolia.
The median across all reporting countries is 8.05 %, and the mean is 12.34 %.
The gap between the highest and lowest reporting country is a factor of about 23.
Over the past decade 52 countries rose and 77 fell. The largest increase was in Syrian Arab Republic (up 304.0%), and the largest decrease in Republic of Moldova (down 90.3%).
