What the numbers show
ILOSTAT - Labour force survey — Employment-to-population ratio by age, 15 to 24, rural areas — Male — Value is currently reported for 85 countries. The highest value is 84.38 % in Netherlands (Kingdom of the); the lowest is 9.5 % in South Africa.
The median across all reporting countries is 40.84 %, and the mean is 43.54 %.
The gap between the highest and lowest reporting country is a factor of about 9.
