It supplements more complete annual datasets (e.g. Business Demography, Structural Business Statistics by Size class) with more timely monthly or quarterly information on a limited number of indicators.Data are broken down whenever available byeconomic activity according to International Standard Industrial Classification, Revision 4 (ISIC Rev.4): ISIC Rev. 4 at the level of sections (letters) and higher aggregates, most often covering the total economy, geographic area at country and TL2 level of the OECD Territorial grids, legal form into three main groups: Limited liability (LL), Partnership (PA) and Sole proprietorship (SP).
