About this data
Intermediate consumption relates to the use of a product as input into a production process. This indicator highlights the dependency on imports of the intermediate consumption for each product and each industry. For each product and each economic activity, the indicator is calculated as Import of the product used for intermediate consumption of the activity / intermediate consumption at basic prices of the same product and economic activity . This indicator is calculated by the OECD from the Import Use table at basic prices and the Use table at basic prices reported to the OECD by countries in their answers to Supply and Use questionnaire. The dataset corresponds to SNA_TABLE45 dataset in the previous dissemination system.
