About this data
This dataset contains statistics on contributions to national year-on-year inflation by COICOP 1999 divisions. Contributions show how much each of the COICOP Divisions contributes to the annual inflation. All data are calculated by the OECD following the Ribe formula. However, data for Austria, Chile, Finland, Mexico, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden and the United Kingdom are directly calculated by the National Statistical Offices. For countries for which data are already available according to the COICOP 2018 classification, contributions can be found in dataset Contribution to year-on-year inflation by COICOP 2018 by country.
